Who we are

Words From Our President Report

Dear Brothers and Sisters, Bismillah‐hirrahma‐nirahim AssalaamoAlaikum. In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful. All Praise is due to Allah.
Another year has gone and the Holy Month of Ramadaan is once again with us. May Almighty Allah (SWT) shower his choicest blessing on you and your family. By the Grace and Mercy of ALLAH (SWT), the MEMON ASSOCIATION OF SOUTH AFRICA continuously strives to assist the Memon community. We provide funds to students to further their ambitions. From our humble beginnings in 1965, we have grown from strength to strength through the generous support of the community and the commitment of our administrators to ensure the continuity of our organisation.n. Our team expanded and we spread out in different regions to make sure we cover all possible areas and help as many children as possible.

We now run shelter homes, schools and a reasonable mess that helps such needy young people. We also have our helpline offices spread throughout the country so one can approach us anytime they need help.

Our approach

The MASA Mission

To offer talented and motivated young South Africans from underprivileged homes the chance to study at high-quality tertiary institutions
To provide them with the  support and guidance they need to graduate and
To help them become the leaders of tomorrow.

“Knowledge Is Power”et all the support they need, when they need it, no matter what it is. Whether it is a reassuring conversation, financial help, education, professional training, or simply the assurance that they are not alone, we will make sure that everyone gets support that meets them where they’re at as quickly as possible.

Our Vision For Young South Africans

Our vision is to see young South Africans equipped with the skills, qualifications, values and motivation necessary to effectively lead and serve their communities.

“Give a man a fish and you will feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime”

There are many students, who have the potential, but unfortunately are not in the position to reach their dreams. We would like to assist these students, irrespective of religion, race, colour or creed, to be the best that they can be. They need the opportunity to enhance their skills and qualifications, which will enable them to support themselves and their families, and even to become leaders in their fields.
By providing education for our underprivileged youth, we hope to change their destiny, thereby helping to create a better South Africa. Our entire team wants to see a world where every youngster struggling in any way feels able to reach out and has people who’ll help them with education, jobs, and more. We want to spread out in every region so we’ll be reachable to all.
